Objective
F1 in Schools, known as the “academic version of the F1 race,” was established in the UK in 1999 and has since expanded to over 26,000 schools in approximately 50 countries and regions.
HKPC introduced the F1 in Schools STEM Challenge program to primary school students in Hong Kong. Students use simple materials, physics knowledge, and 3D drawing skills to create a simulated F1 racing car, which is then raced with other teams. The training aims to provide students with a fun and exciting learning environment to enhance their interest in STEM education.
After completing this course, students can continue to participate in the F1 in Schools Primary Class Training*, which will be offered in September 2024, to further learn and master STEM knowledge. They will also have the opportunity to represent Hong Kong in the 2025 F1 in Schools Primary International Competition*!
*F1 in Schools Primary Class Training is designed according to international competition requirements and requires registration by teams of 5 people.
*F1 in Schools Primary Class Training and F1 in Schools Primary International Competition are not included in this course
